Skype today announced four Wi-Fi phones that will let Skype users make free Skype calls using any Wi-Fi network. The phones will be pre-loaded with Skype software, and will let consumers make free calls to traditional landlines, and low-cost calls to mobile phones.

The phones will all be available this quarter. The Wi-Fi Skype phones will be made by Belkin ($179.99 list price), Edge-Core ($199 list price), Netgear (from $249 list price), and SMC ($199 list price).

Several of the phones are already available outside the U.S. The SMC Wi-Fi Phone for Skype, for example, has been selling in Asia for a retail price of $199.
