SAN FRANCISCO -- A brand new daily web comic for IT developers and pros debuted today at www.heroeshappenhere.com/comic.

Created by veteran comic book editor and writer Jordan B. Gorfinkel and produced by Avalanche Comics Entertainment, the web comic follows a cast of information technologists as they write code, fix bugs and solve problems around the globe, while simultaneously trying to maintain their personal lives.

"This new web comic celebrates the people who make the world run," says Gorfinkel, who goes by the moniker "Gorf." "IT pros and developers usually stay behind the scenes and keep a low profile, but in fact many of them are unsung heroes."
