Crossroads' iSCSI storage router 6220i and storage bridge 6220i-b gain Microsoft WHQL certification

AUSTIN, Texas -- Crossroads Systems, Inc. (PINK SHEETS: CRDS), a leading provider of Business Information Assurance (BIA) solutions for guaranteed access, resiliency and security of enterprise information, today announced that Crossroads NearEdge iSCSI Storage Router 6220i and NearEdge iSCSI Storage Bridge 6220i-b received Microsoft’s Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certification and are qualified to carry the “Designed for Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Family, x86” designation.

Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs certifies that Crossroads’ devices are compatible with Microsoft operating systems. Companies whose devices pass this series of tests are listed on Microsoft's Windows Server Catalog of Tested Products (http://www.windowsservercatalog.com/).

“WHQL certification ensures that solutions have been designed and tested to meet the requirements of the Microsoft Designed for Windows program,” said Bala Kasiviswanathan, group product manager for storage at Microsoft. “Crossroads’ NearEdge 6220i Storage Router and NearEdge 6220i-b Storage Bridge have passed rigorous testing to assure Windows customers that they are user friendly, stable, and compatible with other applications and devices that also bear the Designed for Windows logo.”
