Hewlett-Packard PoE Module

HP brings Power over Ethernet to its ProCurve Switch 5300xl series for Layer 2, 3 and 4 switching in the ProCurve Switch xl 10/100-TX PoE Module. The new module features 24 autosensing 10/100 IEEE 802.3af PoE-ready ports that supply up to 15.4 watts per port to wireless access points, IP phones, Web cameras and other devices needing an external power supply. Coyote Point Systems Equalizer Extreme

Coyote Point brings gigabit load balancing and traffic management to Layers 4 through 7 for less than $10,000. The Equalizer Extreme comes on a Dell PowerEdge 1750 server platform. Load balancing is achieved through cookie-based persistence, server direct measurement, (weighted) server latency and (weighted) round robin. The Equalizer supports DNS, most UDP and TCP/IP protocols, HTTP(S), SMTP, POP, IMAP, streaming media and other standards.
