SBC, which earlier this week announced a slew of new wireless hotspots and roaming agreements for its FreedomLink hotspots service, announced Friday that another major hub airport will have its hotspots.
The company said it has added hotspots in Cleveland's Hopkins International Airport to its FreedomLink network. That airport is a hub for Continental Airlines.
Earlier in the week, SBC announced roaming agreements that would enable its customers to access hotspots in the Detroit and Minneapolis airports, which are hubs for Northwest Airlines, as well as in New York's two airports. In a statement, SBC said the addition is part of its attempt to diversity the types of venues at which it offers its hotspots.
