MONTREAL -- Maximum Throughput Inc. (www.max-t.com), developers of ultra high performance software-based solutions for networked storage infrastructure and media management, announced today that it will be demonstrating its clustered storage solution, MAXcluster, at NAB 2007 (Booth SL12115).

The shared storage requirements for the media and broadcast markets are unique to the industry and cannot be delivered by traditional solutions,” commented Giovanni Tagliamonti, Max-T’s CEO. “MAXcluster has been defined and designed from its core to address the huge bandwidth needs as well as real-time throughput provisioning.”

Post production and broadcasters deal with huge amounts of media that must be simultaneously accessed by many facility resources, and in a cost effective fashion. MAXcluster delivers the highest level of throughput available today, and scales to petabytes of capacity and tens of gigabytes/sec. of network throughput.

Tagliamonti continued, “Our customers also have to see their media in real-time, so we built into the system the capability to provision specifics levels of throughput to selected network clients, even while the cluster continues to deliver file-based access to other users. MAXcluster is wholly unique in the marketplace in delivering this capability.”
