Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications company Ecuity today announced a long-term reseller agreement with NCI Datacom Services. Ecuity specializes in delivering VoIP solutions for the small-to-midsize business and residential markets.

The deal calls for NCI Datacom, a provider of broadband Internet, networking and Web-hosting services, to immediately begin transitioning their business and residential customers to Ecuity's next generation V-Tone network platform of enhanced voice services. According to Ecuity, the V-Tone network will let NCI customers call anyone, anywhere, anytime with a network that leverages the advantages of VoIP and integrates with traditional telephone networks to help customers make calls.

The agreement provides NCI resellers with more customizable features and capabilities as well as custom service options. Ecuity will provide NCI Datacom private-label branding and comprehensive online Web-based systems for setting up new accounts, provisioning, phone number approvals and assignment and updating customers' accounts. In addition to the features NCI customers currently have access to, such as voicemail and caller ID, they will now be offered additional features including unified messaging, simultaneous ring and click-to-dial integration with Microsoft Outlook.
