British "Superhacker" to be Extradited
The U.S. government has accused a U.K. resident of perpetrating the "biggest military computer hack of all time," but it doesn't look so brilliant to us.

So subtract "super" from hacker--what do you have? A foreign national accused of violating the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and causing almost $1 million in damages. And because McKinnon happens to be a resident of the United Kingdom, extradition will be relatively easy. It looks like McKinnon will get a tour of the U.S. justice system.
The reality is, though, this hack says more about the vulnerabilities of U.S. military systems than it does about McKinnon's genius. --Sean Doherty
