MELVILLE, N.Y. -- FalconStor Software, Inc. The new capabilities extend continuous data protection (CDP) and continuous data replication (CDR) for Microsoft Exchange 2007 with guaranteed transactional integrity and very rapid recovery in the event of a partial or full system failure.

Recovery of Microsoft Exchange can be challenging and time-consuming task for IT administrators. Customers need a simple solution that can cut email server downtime to minutes - protecting not only the files but also the system. FalconStor continuous data protection supports Microsoft's new Exchange 2007 for quick and easy recoveries of Exchange files and system, speeding recovery from hours to minutes. The FalconStor Message Recovery option allows recovery of single messages and mailboxes. Via a simple 'wizard' interface, the long processes usually experienced when recovering data in Exchange are removed.

"Businesses around the world depend on Microsoft Exchange to operate and in the future will leverage its new high availability features to improve uptime," said Camberley Bates, chief marketing officer, FalconStor. "FalconStor worked with Microsoft to seamlessly integrate with the high availability features to offer online backup and an additional layer for rapid recovery should these features fail. We give our customers peace of mind from losing critical data."
