BEAVERTON, Ore. -- uXcomm, the leading provider of systems management platforms for device and software system manufacturers, today introduced specialized editions of its XManage product to help customers reduce development cycles and deliver highly differentiated products. XManage Server Edition and XManage Information Appliance Edition™ are the first in a series of pre-integrated and standards-based offerings that deliver commonly-used management functionality so that server and network appliance manufacturers can bring specialized and manageable products to market in record time.

“XManage Server Edition enabled us to develop a systems management solution for our BladeRunner™ server line at a fraction of the cost and time than anything we could have built from scratch," said Bob Monkman, director of software product management and business development at Penguin Computing. "The modular nature of XManage Server Edition allows us to quickly and easily deploy the features our customers require now and in the future."
