TORONTO -- Fortiva, the leading provider of on-demand email archiving today announced that Bell Canada will now offer Fortivas email archiving solution to customers of the organization’s managed information services division.

“With this partnership, we look forward to bringing email archiving to more organizations that want to experience the benefits of an email archive without the time, hassle, and significant upfront costs involved with an on-premise deployment,” said Eric Goodwin, CEO, Fortiva. “We are very pleased that after a rigorous assessment of our scalability, security and performance, they have chosen to partner with us to resell Fortiva’s solution.”

According to industry analyst firm IDC, the market for email archiving is expected to grow from $471 million in 2006 to $1.004 billion in 2010. This growth is being driven by a number of factors, including the need for better email performance, capacity, and storage optimization as well as business and IT requirements for electronic discovery and regulatory compliance. By adding Fortiva’s fully scalable, on-demand solution to its managed service offerings, Bell Canada can enhance their messaging and collaboration offerings to better meet the needs of their customers.
