PRINCETON, N.J. -- Princeton Softech, the market leader in enterprise data management, today announced that Zurich Cantonal Bank (ZKB), Zurichs leading full-service bank, has selected Princeton Softech Optim™ Siebel® Solution to help control data growth, optimize storage utilization and speed a planned upgrade from Siebel version 7.5 to 8.0. ZKB will implement Optim to improve data management and operational efficiencies across its Siebel CRM applications and Oracle® databases on the IBM® AIX™ platform.

As Switzerland’s largest Cantonal Bank and the third-largest Swiss bank, ZKB relies on its Siebel CRM applications to effectively manage its wealth of customer information. As business expands, so does the amount of customer and business information that must be managed and retained. Continued rapid data growth can strain IT resources, lengthen maintenance windows and increase expenses. In choosing Princeton Softech Optim, ZKB is taking a proactive approach for managing data growth and ensuring superior services levels.

“We selected Optim because it provides proven enterprise capabilities for managing continued data growth,” states Alex Navarrete, Head of Siebel Competence Center at Zurich Cantonal Bank. “Using Optim, we can avoid potential performance and availability issues that stem from storing historical customer data in our Siebel production environment and ensure consistent service levels to satisfy our client and business requirements.”
