FREMONT, Calif. -- Rackable Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:RACK), a leading provider of servers and storage products for large-scale data centers, today announced availability of servers based on the new Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor 5400 series (code named 'Harpertown'). Integrated across Rackable Systems broad range of award-winning Eco-Logical™ servers, the next-generation Intel 45nm multi-core processor can help enable greater price performance per watt.
