NEW YORK -- Promisec Ltd, a leading provider of clientless endpoint security management (CESM) technology, today announced the opening of its U.S. headquarters in New York City, NY.Building upon its success in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the company is targeting the world's largest market for enterprise IT security solutions with its innovative endpoint security solutions. Promisec now serves more than 250 sites worldwide, including Ameriquest, Argent Mortgage Bank and the New York Department of Environmental Protection, through offices in Israel, France, the United Kingdom and United States.
"The leading enterprises want to protect their network from content that escapes virus checking or applications that have not been validated," said Alan Rodger, senior analyst for Butler Group. "Being able to secure desktops without having to install monitoring software on each machine, is a big advantage for businesses."
Promisec's comprehensive internal network protection software helps Global 2000 organizations by delivering always-on, comprehensive internal network security solutions that detect and eliminate pre-defined and user-specific internal threats, enabling more effective enforcement of security policies, and preventing loss of mission-critical information.
"The opening of our headquarters in the United States is a strategic initiative, giving the company favorable leverage with accounts in the region and bringing comprehensive onsite sales and support services to North American users of Promisec technology," said Hilik Kotler, VP, Business Development for Promisec. "Promisec's products are designed for companies who want to enforce their security policy, and for the Global 2000. With new standards and federal regulations within the financial, medical and educational fields developing regularly, Promisec is positioned to capitalize on this opportunity."
"Securing network endpoints continues to be a primary concern," said Scott Crawford, Senior Analyst for Enterprise Management Associates. "The perimeter has long been the focus of security efforts -- but the perimeter itself has undergone a transformation. Without securing this diverse landscape, the enterprise faces significant risks -- risks which now may include substantial regulatory penalties arising from gaps in securing sensitive information resources."
