GTB Appoints Thorkelsen

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- GTB Technologies (www.gttb.com), a best-of-breed and award-winning data loss prevention solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Jared Thorkelson as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Thorkelson brings more than 15 years of Internet security experience to GTB and will manage the sales effort of the companys new and existing product lines, including the new GTB Endpoint Protector, the first true ‘content aware’ system that extends GTB’s data loss prevention system beyond the enterprise’s perimeter to the client endpoint.

Thorkelson joins GTB from 8e6 Technologies, where he saw sales increase 20-fold selling to some of the world’s largest and most recognized companies, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Philip Morris and SBC Communications.
