SKOKIE, Ill. -- Forsythe Solutions Group Inc., a 37-year-old North American IT infrastructure integrator and wholly-owned subsidiary of Forsythe Technology Inc., announced that it has acquired the storage integration business assets of More Group Inc., a leading data storage management integrator. These include the services of Mores strong team of experienced sales and storage solutions professionals in Massachusetts and a managed services function for information storage. In addition, Forsythe gains its eighth training facility, which is located in Middleboro, Mass. and is focused on training in IBM’s Tivoli Storage Management (TSM) and CommVault. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. This acquisition enhances Forsythe’s ability to help its customers store and protect their information and strengthens the company’s presence in New England.

This acquisition is Forsythe’s fourth in the last five years. Previous acquisitions include that of St. Paul, Minnesota-based Information Security Technology (IST), a security solutions provider, in September, 2007; Atlanta-based National Business Group, Inc. (NBG), a leader in networking integration of security solutions in 2004; and the security and consulting services assets and contracts of Telenisus, a Chicago-based Internet security company in 2002.

“We view IT infrastructure holistically. Information storage and management are inextricable from information security, recoverability, availability and usefulness to the business,” comments Forsythe president and CEO William P. Brennan. “The addition of the experienced professionals from More Group further enhances our ability to provide our customers with optimized solutions for storing, protecting and utilizing their invaluable data.”
