Mr. Weiner has had a 15-year career in the storage field in technical, sales and management roles. He's a veteran of NetApp where, serving in various executive positions, he helped the company grow from a private company with less than $10M in sales to a $3 billion storage powerhouse. Following NetApp, Mr. Weiner served as the Executive Chairman of StoreAge Networking Technologies overseeing its successful acquisition by LSI Logic. Mr. Weiner has been serving as an executive at Exanet since 2007.

"Mark's work with Exanet over the past 18 months has helped us refocus and establish a unique business model in our field that we feel will be disruptive to the storage industry. There's a lot of excitement around it and today's announcement reinforces and validates this approach," said Exanet Founder and Chairman Dr. Giora Yaron.
