SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Asempra Technologies, a leading provider of recovery management and data protection solutions for Windows-based applications, announced today that Gary Gysin, an accomplished software, network, and storage industry veteran, has joined Asempra as president and chief executive officer. In addition to Gysin's appointment as CEO, Asempra also announced that former Symantec CEO Gordon Eubanks has joined as board member; and former Maxtor marketing Vice President Eric Herzog has joined as vice president of marketing.
