SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today confirmed its Intrusion Detection and Protection (IDP) security systems and ISG firewall/virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP are able to protect customers against the new Microsoft vulnerabilities announced today.

Juniper Networks' IDP systems, running operating code versions 3.0r4 and above, and the ISG firewall/VPN systems with IDP provide coverage for the vulnerabilities listed below:

  • MS06-018 - Vulnerability in Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator Could Allow Denial of Service

  • MS06-019 - Vulnerability in Exchange Server Could Lead to Remote Code Execution

  • MS06-020 - Flash Player Improper Memory Access Vulnerability
