SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Yosemite Technologies, Inc., today announced the release of FileKeeper Professional, a powerful yet simple and affordable file protection and recovery software solution for laptop and desktop computers that sets a new standard for ease-of-use. Individual users at home or in the office can now implement a straightforward data protection solution with intuitive features including recovery of previous versions of a file or deleted files with a simple right click of their mouse in the Microsoft Windows user interface.

"Just about anyone using a computer has accidentally deleted, overwritten or lost a file and realized that they don't have a backup copy -- typically because regular backup of data was too complex or time-consuming," said Lauren Whitehouse, analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group. "FileKeeper Professional offers the behind-the-scenes protection, as well as effortless recovery, needed to ensure that data is safe and always available."

For the novice user, FileKeeper Professional protects most common user data right out of the box, and for the more experienced user, it has easy to configure personalized protection policies and retention periods. In either scenario, FileKeeper Professional requires no further maintenance once set-up, providing users with a 'set-it-and-forget-it' solution.

"FileKeeper Professional is the simple and affordable data protection solution individual users have been demanding," said George Symons, CEO of Yosemite Technologies. "This is the latest offering in our comprehensive line of Core-to-Edge solutions that matches the needs and budgets of diverse customers."
