(NASDAQ:JAVA) today announced new multi-year original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreements with Avanquest Software, Q-layer and Zenith InfoTech Ltd. to expand the global reach of Sun(TM) xVM VirtualBox(TM). OEMs leverage the power of Sun's open source virtualization solution to help deliver highly available, secure and dynamic virtualized offerings. These companies join a growing ecosystem of partners committed to Sun xVM VirtualBox, the industry's most popular cross-platform virtualization software. Sun xVM VirtualBox is available via the OEM program or in a free, open source version at www.virtualbox.org.

Sun xVM VirtualBox is a high performance, small footprint virtualization platform enables users to create virtual machines” into which they can install whichever operating system and application stack they choose.
