The StoneGate Security Solution for VMware virtual environments stands out through its flexible deployment possibilities and advanced manageability,” said Mark Boltz, Senior Solutions Architect at Stonesoft. “Whereas regular, hardware-based firewalls only work with physical networks, the StoneGate virtual Firewall/VPN appliance, as well as other virtual StoneGate appliances, can be deployed in both virtual and physical network environments. In addition, all virtual StoneGate appliances can be managed from the same centralized management console as the other components in the network security solution. This brings organizations significant cost savings, flexibility and sustainability.”
