SALT LAKE CITY -- Revinetix Sentio and Volo™ lines of disk-based network backup appliances are powered by RevOS 2.0.2™, a software update now supporting Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007 for email, calendars, voicemail and data storage. Revinetix is a pioneer in Disk2Disk2Disk™ backup solutions.

The RevOS 2.0.2 software update is available at no charge to Revinetix customers that have a current software maintenance agreement and is available on all new purchases of Revinetix equipment.

Designed to run, maintain and manage data protection for Exchange Server 2007, RevOS 2.0.2 provides the flexibility to schedule comprehensive backups of the Exchange database on a daily basis or as changes happen in the database. The software also offers the capability to restore a single message, inbox or folder. The online interface of RevOS makes email restoration quick and easy for administrators – they can just browse, point and click.

Unlike tape backup systems that require the cumbersome and time consuming process of finding the correct tape, locating the information that needs to be restored, then physically having to make the restoration on the actual machine, Revinetix’ solution simplifies the process of restoring Exchange data on single or multiple machines simultaneously.

“The power and flexibility of our technology is miles ahead of tape backup solutions for SMBs,” said Bryce Lee, Vice President of Marketing. “When recovering lost Exchange data, users can quickly locate a single message on a single machine by browsing the latest message level backup, and then restoring a single message, or the entire mailbox.”Revinetix Inc.
