DALLAS -- Open-E, Inc., a leading provider of unified file and block management software solutions, announced today that its premiere Open-E Data Storage Server (DSS(tm)) IP storage operating system will be available through a strategic partnership with Equus Computer Systems, the world's largest system builder to the channel.

Open-E's high-in-demand, enterprise-class storage software solution will boost the Equus product offering adding enhanced capabilities for data protection, seamless SAN/NAS migration and disaster recovery. Open-E has more than 8,000 customers worldwide and with Open-E's strong international and U.S. technology partners, Equus will now be able to leverage the company's extensive experience and proven solution to provide market leading IP products.
