Network Instruments Launches Largest Portable Retrospective Network Analysis Device

June 29, 2009 -- Minneapolis, MN.-- Network Instruments, a leader in performance management and troubleshooting, announced today its release of the second-generation GigaStor Portable. With a storage capacity of up to 4 TB and a new larger RAID system, it is the largest and fastest portable network recorder available for performing in-the-field retrospective network analysis (RNA).

Because of its ability to significantly reduce the mean time to resolution (MTTR) for teams resolving sporadic performance problems, RNA has emerged as the standard method for network troubleshooting.
