Emulex Qualifies HBAs

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX - News) today announced that its LightPulse(r) 4Gb/s LPe11002 dual channel and LPe1150 single channel Fibre Channel PCI Express Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) are now shipping with HP Integrity rx6600 and rx3600 servers running Linux and Windows. Emulex single- and dual-channel 4Gb/s HBAs are also qualified to support storage area network (SAN) connectivity for the HP StorageWorks family of arrays. The Emulex LPe11002 (HP A8003A) and LPe1150 (HP A8002A) PCI Express 4Gb/s HBAs provide systems with higher performance, a wide range of SAN connectivity options and can be ordered today through HP or its authorized channels, distributors, and resellers.

Additionally, customers can leverage Emulex's HBA management suite, HBAnyware(r) to simplify HBA management for the entire SAN, saving time and money, because HBAnyware allows users to deploy Emulex's common HBA infrastructure across servers with PCI Express and PCI-X slots.
