Companies like EqualLogic and Intransa will face an uphill battle selling their high-quality products to customers who are more willing to invest in a name they know. But these lesser-known vendors will win plenty of sales by demonstrating that they are iSCSI specialists selling core iSCSI products.
Who should you buy your iSCSI products from? Although technology matters, consider the financials of the storage companies with which you do business. If you don't do your due diligence in this rapidly changing market, you may be relying on a manufacturer that no longer exists.
