EDI Technology selects Xyratex to support Beijing airport security for 2008 Olympics

HAVANT, U.K. -- Xyratex Ltd. (NASDAQ:XRTX), a leading provider of enterprise class data storage subsystems and storage process technology, today announced that EDI Technology, a storage integrator, is using the Xyratex F5412E RAID system for online and archive storage of video surveillance at the Beijing Capital International Airport. The Xyratex F5412E 4Gb FC-SAS/SATA-II RAID product delivers EDI the storage scalability, reliability and throughput performance to also support crucial anti-terrorism and security efforts at the airport during the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
