SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- C2C, a leading supplier of enterprise
email archiving software, today announced another industry first. The
company's latest version of its award-winning Archive One solution, which
helps organizations comply with industry regulations and minimize mailbox
size, now fully supports Exchange 2007 and Windows Vista.
Email administrators can be confident that the new Archive One works with
Exchange 2007, allowing them to upgrade to the new platform without
constraints. Specifically, Archive One is able to distinguish Unified
Messaging items - a new feature of Exchange 2007 - and archive them.
A major feature of this new release is the total Personal Storage files
(PSTs) management now offered by C2C, empowering administrators to control
and contain existing PSTs, and to plan and schedule their removal.
"We use the Archive One solution to provide compliance and retention based
services for email. It allows us to optimize our system's resource
capacity, performance, and usage. With Archive One, we are able to control
the constant growth of email storage while meeting our legal and
organizational data retention requirements. In addition, Archive One has
greatly improved our efficiency when responding to requests for public
records, said Flo Carter, Information Technology Supervisor, Enterprise
Technology Services, Information Technology Department, Pinellas County."
