Application Security Problems

Unvalidated Input. While there are a number of other flaws
that are cause for concern, such as Poor Session Management and Weak Authorization, unvalidated input is the most common and serious flaw.
Buffer overflows, which account for roughly 50 percent of all application security incidents, are a direct result of the failure to properly validate input.
