Addonics announces high-performance iSCSI storage appliance

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Addonics Technologies (www.addonics.com) today announced an iSCSI storage appliance, a low-cost alternative to Fibre Channel, for small to mid-sized businesses.
Called the Addonics iSCSI Subsystem, it is the first in Addonics upcoming line-up of high performance iSCSI storage appliances.
The Subsystem is a dedicated RAID/iSCSI stack with an integrated hardware RAID controller delivering enterprise class iSCSI features in a 5.25" form factor unit complete with LCD display module. It supports up to eight SATA I/II hard drives with the ability to connect to many more hard drives using hardware port multipliers for a maximum storage capacity of 128TB.
