SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Xsigo Systems, Inc., the technology leader in data center I/O virtualization, today announced a significant customer win. Infoplex Pty Ltd., a leading IT Managed Service Provider based in Australia, has purchased six Xsigo VP 780 I/O Directors that will be installed and operational in its Sydney and Melbourne data centers by the end of the year.

As one of Australias fastest growing and most dynamic IT Managed Service Providers, Infoplex will use Xsigo’s I/O Directors to consolidate server connectivity in their data centers, resulting in improved operational efficiencies and cost savings. As well, Xsigo’s solution will promote new levels of application performance and agility for customers that host their business-critical applications with Infoplex. Future plans include Xsigo deployments at Infoplex data centers in Hong Kong and Brisbane.

“Xsigo allows us to be more efficient and responsive at the same time,” said Sean Kaye, Infoplex’s Managing Director. “Because we operate data centers across two continents, our objective is to remotely manage all aspects of operation, including connectivity. With Xsigo’s I/O virtualization technology, we can reduce cabling by 70%, eliminate re-wiring, and provision servers in half the time.”
