Nexenta Systems extends OpenStorage leadership with Comstar iSCSI

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Nexenta Systems today announced the availability of the revolutionary Solaris-based Comstar iSCSI target as a part of NexentaStor 1.1.5. NexentaStor is the leading provider of OpenStorage NAS and iSCSI solutions utilizing the ZFS file system.
"Many of our customers access NexentaStor via iSCSI," said Erik Logan, President and CTO of Pogo Linux. "Pogo is excited that our customers will benefit from the 200-300% increase in read and write performance gained from the inclusion of Comstar, all without losing any of the data integrity and ease-of-use that NexentaStor is known for."
