SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Ingram Micro's Infrastructure Technology Solutions (ITS) Division today announced a strategic distribution agreement with Data Domain , the leading provider of deduplication storage systems for enterprise disk backup and network-based disaster recovery. The new North America agreement includes Data Domain's complete line of deduplication storage systems, which covers the innovator's Appliance Series, DDX Array Series, Gateway Series, Replicator Software, Virtual Tape Library Software and the new DD120 remote office protection system for distributed enterprises.

According to ITS Division vice president Scott Look, Data Domain has been on partners' most wanted list for some time and is a solid addition to Ingram Micro's growing portfolio of storage products and solutions.

"Data Domain's decision to trust our team to take its products to a broader market speaks volumes for the value-add and technical expertise found within Ingram Micro and our ITS Division and enables us to offer partners a wider variety of high quality, enterprise-class storage systems," said Look. "Data Domain is renowned as one of the IT industry's fastest-growing vendors, and its deduplication storage systems are proven to help channel partners optimize three of today's hottest IT applications -- disk backup, archiving and network-based disaster recovery."
