MANCHESTER, U.K. -- Internet Facilitators Limited(www.internetf.co.uk) providers of carrier neutral collocation and datacenter services, today announce the expansion of their IFL2 data center in Manchester. The new 150 rack expansion further cements IFL's position as the largest provider of data center space in Manchester and the North West region.

IFL2 is a purpose built, state of the art facility, with independent n+1 UPS systems and diesel generators protecting the two floors of the building operated by IFL. Further protection is offered through VESDA smoke detection and FM200 fire suppressant, non-ozone depleting n+1 Air Conditioning and24x7x365 technical support and manned security.

Commenting on the announcements, Matthew Edgley, IFL Sales Manager says;

"Due to a combination of increased demand and inadequate supply, there is a lack of high quality collocation space available in the UK. This 150 rack expansion comes on the back of the 250 racks released earlier this year, and many have already been reserved by existing clients. Demand for space continues at record levels."
