Emulex expands SAN connectivity for HP Integrity Servers across HP-UX, Windows, and Linux operating environments

SOPHIA, France -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX - News) today announced that its 4Gb/s PCI Express I/O Controller (IOC) 3532 is the basis for a new HBA that will provide SAN connectivity for the HP Integrity family of servers running the HP-UX 11i operating system. This design win expands support for Emulex 4Gb/s SAN connectivity solutions across HP Integrity servers running Windows, Linux and HP-UX operating environments.

The Emulex IOC 3532 architecture provides superior scalability, exceptional performance and integrated memory for enhanced reliability. Emulex's IOC 3532 features data corruption protection, a combination of parity, cyclic redundancy check (CRC), error-correcting code (ECC) and other advanced error-checking methods, ensuring end users a robust set of tools to protect their data.
