RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- AXS-One Inc. [AMEX: AXO], a leading provider of high-performance records compliance management solutions (RCM), today announced the release of AXS-Link for Sun JMS, a policy-driven archiving and management solution for Sun Java Messaging Server. As a native Sun Java Messaging Server application and the only archiving solution to integrate with the Sun Java Communications Suite, the technology offers enhanced functionality for message management (including archival, retrieval, retention and disposition) as well as compliance and legal discovery.
AXS-Link for Sun JMS is a fully integrated component of the AXS-Ones flagship product, the AXS-One Compliance Platform™, a single, scalable archiving and electronic records management software platform for policy-based management of disparate electronic records. Developed in conjunction with Sun, AXS-Link for Sun JMS delivers the industry’s first and only comprehensive solution to address the efficient archival and retrieval of Sun Java Messaging Server messages. Full integration with Sun Java Messaging Server allows the size of the Sun Java Messaging Server data stores to be reduced and gives users the ability to manage the broad risks associated with the retention, disposition and management of e-mail, instant messages and other electronic records. This includes feature sets optimized to address compliance and legal discovery, including legal holds.
“We are excited to be working with Sun Microsystems to deliver this type of archiving solution directly in its product line, and we’re privileged to offer our technology and services to make this high-level of integration possible,” said Bill Lyons, CEO of AXS-One. “As electronic records management becomes a top-level priority for reasons ranging from corporate governance to legal discovery, we believe this comprehensive solution meets an increasingly critical global market need.”
