CrossTec Unveils 3.5

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- CrossTec Corporation has released version 3.5 of its Activeworx Security Center event management (SIM) software. The upgrade contains new features that provide simple ways to comply with federal regulations; analyze and share real-time
security data; and efficiently manage and protect networks.

IT managers can tackle arduous federal compliance reporting by using the new embedded
reporting center, which allows users to control parameters and schedule automated reporting
tasks. Activeworx 3.5 is bundled with over 200 new PCI, SOX, GLBA and HIPAA reports at no
additional cost.

“Every day, hackers, thieves and even a company’s own employees are finding new
ways to access consumers’ personal credit card data,” said Jeff Richards, vice president of
CrossTec’s security division. “Activeworx developers have added reports specifically to help
organizations show they comply with the PCI Data Security Standard and help them avoid fines
of up to $500,000 per incident for non-compliance.”
