NASHUA, N.H. -- NTP Software, the first in the control and

management of unstructured data, announces that Henderson State University, a public

liberal arts university located in Arkansas, has selected NTP Software QFS as the

centralized point of control to manage their Windows storage environment.

As one of the oldest universities in Arkansas, Henderson State is committed to providingtheir students with exceptional undergraduate curricula as well as graduate programs. In

order to protect their storage investment and provide the best possible service to their

students and faculty, Henderson State needed a mechanism in place to properly

manage and control the data entering their environment.

Henderson State selected NTP Software QFS and its policy-based control offered to

support their Windows servers, and ensure the storage space available to their endusers was being consumed properly. Upon implementation of QFS, the university was

able to put policies in place so files deemed illegal or inappropriate would not be allowed

into their environment, immediately saving essential disk space and lowering costs for

additional storage resources.

“We are excited that Henderson State University has decided to deploy NTP Software

QFS” stated Aaron Dufoe, vice president of sales at NTP Software. “It has becomeincreasingly important that educational institutes protect their storage resources so they

can continue to provide the exceptional standards their end users expect. Like many

other well established universities, Henderson State has taken the proper steps to

secure a well managed storage environment for both their students and personnel.”
