LOUISVILLE, Colo. -- Front Porch Digital, the global leader in Content Storage Management, today announced that Poland's TVN is using DIVArchive and DIVAdirector to enable easy sharing and repurposing of video content among the broadcaster's growing number of television channels. The Front Porch Digital Content Storage Management and browse systems, supplied through Polish systems integrator Comtegra, are tied into TVN's WHATS'On scheduling system from MediaGeniX NG to support fluid metadata sharing and to enable real-time database queries with immediate results.

"Our vision was to deploy a solution allowing us to archive content once and use it many times, while being able to browse and manage this content from any desktop PC," said Jaroslaw Lech, deputy IT director at TVN. "After considering different vendors, we found Front Porch Digital the most capable to sustain such a vision. The integration of DIVArchive and DIVAdirector is unique and provides a turnkey, open, flexible, and scalable Content Storage Management solution, making it very easy to interoperate with our existing environment. Looking forward, we feel the modular and scalable architecture of the Front Porch Digital systems will provide an ideal platform for new projects such as the launch of VOD services."
