SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Storwize Inc., the leading provider of primary storage data compression solutions, today announced it has joined the Technical Support Alliance Network (TSANet), a worldwide support alliance that offers an industry-wide forum to facilitate servicing multi-vendor customers while providing an infrastructure for more efficient problem solving.

With membership of more than 150 hardware and software vendors, TSANet is the largest and most effective global technical support network, enabling IT vendors and their channel partners to save time, money and resources by giving access to a secure communications infrastructure for resolving technical customer support issues quickly and efficiently. Members have access to an industry-standard legal framework, a recognized code of conduct and a database containing processes and procedures that have been specifically designed to fast-track cooperation between multiple partners.

TSANet brings together multiple vendors from around the world who have pledged to put their mutual customers first in instances where they experience issues with their heterogeneous technical solutions,” said Dennis Smeltzer, Executive Director of TSANet. “By decreasing the customer’s involvement in the problem resolution process through the clear establishment of support relationships between members, there is a realization of less costly downtime and a dramatic increase in productivity. We are pleased to see Storwize dedicate themselves to this collaborative support effort and look forward to their participation as a member of the TSANet community.”
