BOULDER, Colo. -- ProStor Systems, a leading developer of removable disk storage solutions, today announced that Quest Software, Inc.s (Nasdaq:QSFT) Archive Manager product now supports ProStor’s InfiniVault™ archive appliance, the world’s first removable disk archive appliance for the enterprise, creating a unified, complementary storage solution for enterprise customers. Quest becomes the latest third-party software vendor to add InfiniVault compatibility to its features list, giving the company an innovative, scalable storage platform to host its applications.

ProStor’s InfiniVault provides an unbeatable digital archive and compliance solution that reduces storage costs by combining long-term data retention, regulatory compliance, automated data archiving and disaster recovery protection in a single, simple-to-deploy and easy-to-use appliance. By leveraging RDX® removable disk technology, ProStor has created the world’s first archive system that combines the performance and rapid retrieval of conventional hard disk drives with the unlimited capacity scalability and disaster recovery protection of removable media but with a system design that is far more reliable than tape and much lower cost than fixed-disk archive systems.

“We’re pleased to have Quest Software as our latest ISV partner. As a leader in email archiving, Quest has a proven track record of providing optimal storage solutions for enterprise IT,” said Steve Georgis, President and CEO of ProStor Systems. “Quest Archive Manager’s support of our all-disk InfiniVault archive appliance helps address the challenges of compliance and storage management, and provides enterprise customers with a total enterprise-class storage solution.”
