FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Netezza Corporation today announced it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated will act as joint book-running managers for the offering with Needham & Company and Thomas Weisel Partners acting as co-managers. The number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time that the registration statement becomes effective.
