LOS ANGELES -- Morph Labs announces the availability of a virtual application infrastructure subscription that starts at $1 per day. The service will allow independent software vendors (ISVs) and entrepreneurs to simplify the deployment, delivery, and management of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications while reducing upfront investment costs and speeding time to market.

Each Morph AppSpace runs within the Morph Application Platform that utilizes Amazon Web Services, including the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and the Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). By utilizing on-demand computing resources and storage from Amazon EC2 and S3, Morph Labs is able to instantly provision an enterprise quality elastic application environment. Each application environment can be enlarged or reduced in real-time to meet user needs. This flexibility eliminates the practice of over provisioning the application environment only to service peak periods.

The Morph Application Platform enables deployment, delivery and management of web applications. The platform is a highly secure enterprise-grade environment that enables businesses to increase productivity and frees developers from the time required to manage and scale an application. The Morph Application Platform brings together the best of open source technologies and integrates them along with Morphs own technology to provide a seamless end to end virtualized infrastructure for applications. Developers and ISVs can quickly run Software as a Service (SaaS) applications on a Morph AppSpace, and move from sign-up to deployment within minutes.

“Morph utilizes the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) for resizable compute capacity infrastructure to provide a scale for its users,” said Steve Rabuchin, Director of Developer Relations for Amazon Web Services. “Applications can be delivered and scaled to millions of users within minutes.”
