Bud Broomhead, CEO of Intransa, announced that Robert Mally has been named vice president of Finance and Administration

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Bud Broomhead, CEO of Intransa, the global innovator of network-centric IP storage solutions, today announced that Robert Mally has been named vice president of Finance and Administration, effective immediately.

Intransa had been seeking an experienced financial executive with an extensive background in corporate financial planning, implementation and management for high technology companies. We found all of that in Robert,” said Broomhead. “Our customers and StorPartner program members are all going to benefit as we draw upon that expertise.”

Broomhead, who joined Intransa as CEO in January of this year, also announced other key executive appointments. Lee Zipin was named vice president of Engineering; Jeff Whitney, vice president of Marketing and George Vaiser as vice president of Sales.

With eighteen years in financial leadership roles, Mally brings a wide variety of knowledge to the company. Most recently Mally was Director of Finance at Intuit, Inc., with corporate-wide financial responsibility for supply chain, order management, customer service, credit and collections, procurement, and facilities. Previously he held the positions of Senior Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at Business Objects and as vice president of Finance and Senior Controller at Looksmart Ltd.

Mally’s career also includes senior financial roles with Walt Disney Internet Group, Bertelsmann AG, BMG Direct and Signet Bank. He earned a BA in Economics at the University of Maryland, and a MBA at Carnegie Mellon University.Intransa Inc.
