The FalconStor CDP for SMB appliance is a combination of Intel's SSR212CC, which is purchased separately, and FalconStor's CDP for SMB software. The solution was developed to help SMBs manage the dramatic growth of data and to remove the difficulty of multiple time- and resource-intensive backups per day, which can grind the IT shop of a smaller company to a halt. In the event of a failure, data can be recovered in minutes with the FalconStor CDP solution rather than hours or days. Because data is backed up continuously, companies can recover to any point in time and data loss is virtually eliminated.
