OCEANPORT, N.J. and ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- CommVault (NASDAQ:CVLT) and the Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) unit of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) today announced an agreement to offer multiple new archive software bundles. Providing customers tailored solutions that offer operational efficiencies, regulatory compliance, cost savings and increased data availability, the turnkey mid-size enterprise (MSE) solutions combine modules from the CommVault SimpanaTM 7.0 software suite with HP storage hardware and are designed to better serve Arrow ECS’ reseller partners seeking to enter the mid-market.

“Faced with many of the same challenges as large enterprises, MSE customers, including those in the healthcare, financial services and telecommunications industries, require real-time, around-the-clock access to business-critical data and applications,” said Ron Miller, CommVault’s vice president of North American sales. “By shifting the focus to selling solutions rather than just selling products, the CommVault and HP bundles will make it easier for our channel partners to offer simplified, affordable business solutions designed specifically for midsize customers. We’re excited to see our partnership with Arrow ECS grow and are committed to providing the MSE with solutions that give them control over data growth, costs and risk.”

According to Kevin Gilroy, president of Arrow ECS, “Arrow ECS is creating a robust mid-market offering for our partners, and we are committed to leveraging our relationships with the world’s leading hardware, software and storage suppliers to provide solutions to best meet the needs of all of our partners. These solutions bring the power of HP and CommVault together for our partners, enabling them to serve the needs of mid-market companies and provide accelerated access to HP for our CommVault partners and vice versa.”
