Buffalo Technology adds easy remote access to its TeraStation Live NAS Device

AUSTIN, Texas -- Buffalo Technology, aglobal leader in the design, development and manufacturing of wired andwireless networking, storage and memory solutions, today announced itsnew Web Access feature is now available with its high-performanceTeraStation Live NAS devices, which are available in capacities of 1TB(HS-DH1.0TGL/R5), 2TB (HS-DH2.0TGL/R5) and 3TB (HS-DH3.0TGL/R5). WebAccess allows consumers to effortlessly access and share digital filessuch as precious photos, home videos and music at any time fromanywhere in the world.

With Web Access, users can instantly gain access to content stored onthe TeraStation Live from any web browser interface. The deviceincludes its own dynamic DNS server so users simply log ontowww.buffaloNAS.com, enter their user name and instantly have access toall of their files. Additionally, they can access their device by goingto www.buffaloNAS.com/theirusername. Because there is no need todownload software, set-up is a breeze. Web Access uses UPnP (UniversalPlug and Play) and requires no firewall configuration for seamlesscommunication between the TeraStation Live and any web browser. And,unlike competing remote access technologies, there are no recurringservice fees.
