ARMA International's Board of Directors is pleased to announce Marilyn Bier as its new Executive Director

MINNEAPOLIS -- ARMA International's Board of Directors is pleased to announce Marilyn Bieras its new Executive Director. Marilyn has been the association's InterimExecutive Director since March 2006 and has done an excellent job ofcontinuing to lead the headquarters operation forward during that time.Prior to that, Marilyn was the association's Deputy Executive Director andDirector of Education, during which time she played a pivotal strategic rolein shaping and expanding the association's education program.

Marilyn joined ARMA International's headquarters staff in 2000, bringingwith her an established success record in adult education and leadership. Asa member of HQ's senior management team for the past six years, Marilyn wasan active participant in the association's strategic planning discussionsand execution, which uniquely qualifies her to assume the helm and keep theassociation's operations moving forward.

"This is not the same association it was even 5 years ago, and Marilyn hasbeen part of its dramatic evolution these past few years. We believe she hasthe passion, energy, and enthusiasm for the profession that will help thatevolution continue," explains ARMA International President Susan McKinney,CRM.
