MILPITAS, Calif. -- Aquantia, the leading developer of mainstream 10GBASE-T solutions, has expanded its management ranks with the addition of Sean Keohane as vice president of sales and Ahmad Ghaemmaghami as vice president of operations. Both executives bring Aquantia more than 20 years of semiconductor and technology business experience.

Sean Keohane has previously held sales and sales management positions with National Semiconductor, Allied Telesyn, SMC Networks and Accton Technology. He brings Aquantia worldwide experience in sales growth, strategic relationships and customer development for the networking market. He holds a BS in Business Management and an MBA from San Jose State University.

Before joining Aquantia, Ahmad Ghaemmaghami was vice president of manufacturing operations at AMCC, where he was responsible for strategic business development, planning and directing all aspects of the operations organizations initiatives. He previously led operations at Silicon Image. Ahmad holds four patents and received his BSEE from the University of California at San Diego.

“We have seen an outstanding response from the market to the announcement and availability of our first 10GBASE-T silicon, and rounding out our management team is a natural part of preparing for full market entry as we ramp up to volume production,” said Phil Delansay, president and CEO of Aquantia. “Sean and Ahmad will aid this process in sales and operations by adding their extensive experience from highly successful companies.”
